My Sports Academy Payment Policy

  1. All payments must be made with an accompanying booking form prior to the child participating in our activities. Places cannot be reserved unless approved by a Site Manager.
  2. If payment is not made and a valid reason provided within two weeks of the activity commencing, My Sports Academy reserves the right to cancel your child’s activity place.
  3. Consent forms will be provided and must also be completed and signed. Forms can also be completed online. If the form is not signed within two weeks of the activity commencing, you will be considered as having accepted all My Sports Academy Terms and Conditions.
  4. A receipt will be provided as confirmation of your booking.
  5. All prices are based on a termly fee, individual lessons are not permitted.
  6. We do not provide refunds or make-up lessons for missed sessions except in the circumstances outlined below. However, if we cancel a session then a make-up lesson will be offered unless the cancellation is due to a force majeure.
  7. My Sports Academy has a general ‘no refund’ policy. However, exceptions will be made at the desecration of the management. A medical note may be required if due to injury or illness.
  8. If a child has been absent due to sickness for three consecutive sessions or more then My Sports Academy will offer to make up lessons for the missed sessions. An accompanying doctors note will be required.
  9. If joining part way through an academic term the fees will be pro-rated.
  10. Annual registration fees are payable once per customer, per year and are reduced by 50 AED if paying in term 3.
  11. Cancellation policy – Full refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:
  • Major illness
  • Hospitalisation and rehabilitation exceeding one week
  • Relocation outside of the emirate in which the venue resides

My Swim Club - Terms and Conditions

Dear Swimmers, kindly familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions stated below and thank you for choosing to swim with us.

  1. Please note swim fees cover coaching services and are not attributable to individual coaches. We strive for continuity at all times and whilst every effort will always be taken to ensure that the training schedule remains consistent, occasionally sessions may need to be reduced and coaches may be substituted.
  1. Fees are calculated to include school holiday breaks and therefore swimmers are not entitled to make-up lessons for scheduled breaks.
  1. We do not provide refunds or make-up lessons for missed sessions except in the circumstances outlined below.
  1. Make-up swim lessons are ONLY available at the discretion of My Sports Academy management and will be considered under the following circumstances:
    • If we cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. coach illness, facility repairs, pool hygiene issues.
    • If we cancel a lesson due to national holidays or unexpected school closures
    • If an absence for three consecutive lessons or more is accompanied by a doctor’s note.
  1. Make-up lessons will not be granted for any other reason. This includes, but is not restricted to; family holidays, single absences, school exams or clashes with other activities.
  1. Participants are required to swim at their scheduled class times in order to maintain appropriate coach to swimmer ratios. These are factored into every My Sports Academy lesson and are in place to optimise individual and collective development.
  1. If we cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, we will strive to offer as many convenient times as possible, however, lessons will be structured around coach availability and coach to swimmer ratios.
  1. Make-up lessons are not transferable and must be utilised in the same term as the missed lesson(s).
  1. If we need to cancel your child’s lesson (due to teacher illness, facility repairs etc.) we will notify you as soon as is practically possible via text message and email.
  1. Cancellation policy – Full refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:
  • Major illness
  • Hospitalisation and rehabilitation exceeding one week
  • Relocation outside of the emirate in which the venue resides
